Living in this area, you’ve got to know who Ansel Adams is, right? He is one of the most famous American photographers ever, probably, and was fascinated with desert and mountain scenes. The Tucson Museum of Art is hosting the exhibit “Ansel Adams: A Legacy,” which is a survey of over 100 of his photographs printed by him will be on display from October 10, 2009 – February 14, 2010. The admission price is low considering what a cultural treat this is.
Where: Tucson Museum of Art, 140 North Main Avenue, Tucson, AZ, 85701, 520-624-2333.
When: Opens October 10, 2009 – February 14, 2010. Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Sundays 12:00 – 4:00 PM, Closed Mondays.
How Much: $8 adults, $5 seniors (60+). $3 students (13+), Free for children under 12 and Museum members, Free on the first Sunday of every month
