A Bargain-Hunter's Guide to Inexpensive Fun in Tucson

Understanding and Navigating the Social Media Jungle

Posted on | February 17, 2010 | No Comments

On Wednesday evening, the Tucson Young Professionals will sponsor a talk about the social media and how to understand it and navigate through. What is the value of the social media? Which platform is best for you–Facebook, Blogging, LinkedIn, and/or Twitter? How do you get connected with others in Tucson? Those topics and others will be covered. Sue Porter, owner of Dynamic Personal Development, will offer insights into the fun but complex world of social media. Also Michael Gray, who freelances as a social media consultant, will draw on his experience to enlighten all of us.

I think this will be a great meeting to attend. Expect to learn a lot.

  • Where: ParkWise Conference Room, 110 E. Pennington (near Cafe Poca Cosa)
  • When: Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at 6:00 PM
  • How much: Free to Tucson Young Professional members. For guests the first meeting is free. All other meetings cost $10 for guests.

We post deals as we find them. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Sometimes the information we receive isn't acccurate, although we try to check every deal. And sometimes we make mistakes. It's up to you to check. It is always wise to call first to see if a bargain is still available.
