HarvestFest at Sonoita Vineyards

Sonoita Vineyards hosts two or three annual events, one of which is their summer HarvestFest. This is the one where they stomp the grapes. A year or two ago, we drank a glass of wine, found a spot in the shade and just watched the world go by on a glorious day in Southern Arizona.
The cost is $15/person and includes a souvenir glass, winery tours, food and wine pairings, live music and dancing. Pony rides for kids are available for $5 at the festival.
My recollection is that the food samples and wine pairings included in the admission cost were quite small. We were hungry and paid extra for lunch and another few bucks for a full glass of wine. So bear that in mind if you are thinking of going this year. I’m not really sure I’d call this event cheap or inexpensive. My best guess is that we paid roughly $45 or so for two ( Two tickets at $15 each, plus one full glass of wine each and a lunch). I WOULD call it a great way to spend a beautiful Saturday or Sunday afternoon in Arizona. I am posting because we enjoyed the experience. Your call.
