Art at the Ranch

Posted on | November 25, 2009 | No Comments

I think this one looks to be an excellent way to spend your Saturday. Amado Territory Ranch is hosting a day of music and art, including famed Native American flutis R. Carlos Nakai and the Larry Redhouse  Jazz Trio. In terms of art, there will be 20 vendors. Mediums displayed include painting, sculpture, jewelry, Zuni fetish carving and Navajo handcrafts. If you get hungry, have no fear! Plate lunches will be  offered for sale by on site restaurants “Kristofer’s” and “Stockman’s Grill.”

R. Carlos Nakai will perform at Noon. The Larry Redhouse Jazz Trio will entertain you from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM.

  • Where: Amado Territory Ranch, 3001 E. Frontage Road Amado, AZ 85645 (520) 270-7462. The ranch is located 30 miles south of Tucson, I- 19, Exit 48.
  • When: Saturday November 28, 2009, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • How much: Free admission. If you choose to buy a plate lunch, those cost $8.

We post deals as we find them. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Sometimes the information we receive isn't acccurate, although we try to check every deal. And sometimes we make mistakes. It's up to you to check. It is always wise to call first to see if a bargain is still available.
