In celebration of Mexican Independence Day (September 16), Fleischer Park in Nogales is hosting the Fiestas Patrias Festival on Saturday. The festival is free and open to the public and will have many family-friendly activities, like face-painting, games, dancing, live music by Los Apsons, educational exhibits on culture, food and more! This event is technically not in Tucson, but promises to be worth the distance as it will present a breadth of different heritages through fun and interesting ways suited for the whole family.
Where: Fleischer Park, 1500 N. Hohokam Drive, Nogales, AZ, 85621, 1-520-287-3685.
When: Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 5:00 PM – Midnight.
How Much: Free.
