Best Cheap (But Good) Vietnamese Food in Tucson

The number of Vietnamese restaurants in Tucson has grown significantly over the past five years or so. Though some of Vietnamese dishes are similar to Chinese food, the Vietnamese have had over 2000 years of developing their own specialities, such as nuoc mom (fish sauce), pho, goi cuon (spring rolls), and other dishes such as bun (noodles), and com (rice).
The following are some great and affordable Vietnamese Restaurants in Tucson:
Pho #1 (was Pho Thu)
2226 N Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85705-5602
Hours: Monday 10am-3pm; Tues-Sun 10am-9pm
Dishes: Goi Cuon (2) $3.75, Pho ranges from $6.75-$7.75, Bun (Rice Vermicelli Dishes) $6.75-$8.75, Rice Dishes (Com) – $8.75-$8.99
Pho #1 is a very authentic Vietnamese restaurant, similar to ones you will find in the American-Vietnamese epicenters like San Jose, and Orange County. Don’t let the fact that it is right next to an auto repair shop keep you from going there. You will find great pho here.
Ha Long Bay

This Vietnamese restaurant features great service, and the restaurant has a great mural of Ha Long Bay inside. Al A. from Yelp said “Good food, good prices, and friendly service/nice atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out. Try the Lemon Grass Spicy Beef (or chicken).”
