J-Bar Summer Specials

Posted on | May 27, 2009 | No Comments

Some VERY nice summer specials here for all of us brave souls here sweating in the Tucson heat. Cool down at J-Bar this summer with a $9 Smokin’ Bee. A what? It’s special drink–a concoction of mesquite honey, lavender and a blend of citrus and Sombra mezcal. Hmmm. I may have to test drive that one, myself!

For dinner, try out a summer sampler for $12.95. J-Bar is offering a choice of three main courses:

  1. Cochinita Pibil and Black beans with Watermelon-Orange-Avocado-Radish Relish
  2. Smoked Chicken and Chili Rajas, Papas Bravas, and Mushroom Escabeche
  3. Tamarind Glazed Mahi Mahi and Sonoran Style Tabouleh with Meyer Lemon Raita.

For those with a larger appetite, you can choose the 3-course summer tasting menu for $25.

We LOVE your summer specials, Janos, so keep ‘em coming!

Where: J-Bar 3770 E. Sunrise Dr., Tucson 85718 (It’s on the grounds of the Westin La Paloma Resort.) (520) 615-6100.

When: Summer, 2009. Give them a call first to make sure the specials are still in effect.

How much: A delish entree for $12.95.

We post deals as we find them. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Sometimes the information we receive isn't acccurate, although we try to check every deal. And sometimes we make mistakes. It's up to you to check. It is always wise to call first to see if a bargain is still available.
