Cerros de Trinceras & Warfare in Sonora, Mexico

The Arizona Archaeological and Historical Society presents wonderful lectures on a variety of subjects of interest to Tucsonans. This Monday, come and hear Randall McGuire, from State University of New York, present his latest research on the pre-historic hill settlements of Sonora. Cerros de Trinceros, for anyone interested, is a pre-historic hill settlement. I think the topic of war in pre-historic hill settlements looks fascinating.
- Where: Duval Auditorium, University Medical Center 1501 N Campbell Ave. Tucson, AZ 85724 (520) 622-5622 Directions: Go north on Campbell from Speedway, turn into UMC main entrance on west side of Campbell. Park in the parking garage. Go inside the main hospital buidling and then turn right. if you can’t find Duval Auditorium, ask at the front desk.
