A Bargain-Hunter's Guide to Inexpensive Fun in Tucson

Free Koi Show

Posted on | November 10, 2009 | No Comments

Did you know that November 14 and 15, 2009 have been declared “Koi Appreciation Days?” It’s true. Mayor Walkup recently decided to honor the Koi. Who knew? In any case, there’s a wonderful event this weekend–a Koi Show. In fact, it’s the 30th annual Koi Show (guess I’ve been a little busy these past 30 years and missed it).

Come see and learn about these beautiful fish. There will also be martial arts demonstrations including Samuarai Sword by Kodenkan of Tucson, a Taiko concert by Odaiko Sonora and Japanese Dance by Suzuyuki-kai, a Vendor’s Market, Koi Auction, Raffle and more! This sounds like great fun to me.

We post deals as we find them. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Sometimes the information we receive isn't acccurate, although we try to check every deal. And sometimes we make mistakes. It's up to you to check. It is always wise to call first to see if a bargain is still available.
