László Veres Amphitheater Dedication and Holiday Extravaganza
Posted on | December 11, 2009 | No Comments
Arizona Symphonic Winds creator and conductor, László Veres, has a lovely honor–the Tucson Powers That Be have decided to name the Udall Park ampitheater after him. This Saturday, to celebrate the occasion, some newly- installed lettering on the stage wall will be on view (I gather this means that they’re going to unveil a plaque with his name on it.).
Will there be entertainment, you ask? Of course! Come and hear a mini-holiday concert by the Arizona Symphonic Winds. Also present will be Councilman Rodney Glassman and Bobby Rich, of 94.9MIXfm. Come on out!
- Where: Udall Park, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Rd., Tucson 85715.
- When: Saturday December 12, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- How much: FREE.
