Thanksgiving Indian Arts & Crafts Market

Come out this weekend to the San Xavier Del Bac Mission for an Indian Arts & Crafts Market. They expect 50 arts and crafts vendors. Food Booths  will include Traditional Tohono O’odham foods and Navajo foods. Enjoy free entertainment on Saturday and Sunday inside the Plaza Patio area.

The schedule:

Saturday, November 28, 2009:

  • 12pm – 1pm — Wa:k Tab Basket Dancers
  • 2pm -5pm — Al Pablo’s Chicken Scracth Band
  • 3pm -4pm–San Xavier Distrcit Elders Dance Group

Sunday, November 29, 2009:

  • 11am-Noon ~ Black Mountain Drum Group
  • 11am-Noon Exhibition Pow Wow Dancers
  • 2pm -5pm ~ The Lopez Band “Chicken Scratch Band”
  • 2pm 3pm ~ Dance Group

Where: In front of the historic San Xavier Del Bac Mission, 1959 San Xavier Road Tucson, AZ 85746 Directions: Take I-19 South, get off on Exit 92. Take a right and head towards the historic Mission San Xavier Del Bac. The fair is just south of the church.
When: Friday, November 27, 2009; Saturday, November 28, 2009; and Sunday, November 29, 2009 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
How much: Admission and entertainment are free.
