Tohono Chul–Ask the Plant Expert

Posted on | July 22, 2009 | No Comments

Russ Buhrow, Curator of Plants at Tohono Chul Park, knows whay kind of plant you can buy to attract butterflies or hummingbirds or rattlers (just kidding about the snakes). He can help you identify plant diseases and help with watering issues. And you can ask him your desert gardening questions.

You’ll find Russ in the greenhouse, just before the entrance to the park, so you don’t have to pay to get in. Very cool event that is ongoing (see below).

Where: Tohono Chul Park, 7366 N Paseo Del Norte Tucson, AZ 85704. (520) 742-6455.

When: Saturday, July 25, 2009 9:00 AM -Noon. (This is an ongoing event, held every other Saturday until September 19, 2009.)

How much: Free

We post deals as we find them. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Sometimes the information we receive isn't acccurate, although we try to check every deal. And sometimes we make mistakes. It's up to you to check. It is always wise to call first to see if a bargain is still available.
