Blessing o’ the Tartans

Ok, wear your kilts and tartans and head to St Philip’s in the Hills this Sunday for the Blessing o’ the Tartans, a custom supposedly begun in the 18th century when the Scottish people were prohibited from wearing tartans. A bagpipe and drum corps will lead the procession into the church.
- Where: St. Philip’s In The Hills Episcopal Church, 4440 N. Campbell Ave. Tucson, AZ 85718
- When: Sunday November 22, 2009, 9-10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
- How much: Freewill offering.
