The talk will be presented by by Ceanne Alvine, Ph.D. RN, Nursing Faculty. Dr. Alvine will give an overview on healthcare service options and payer sources. She will discuss the scope and costs of home- and community-based services and the potential of “Medical Home” and “the Class Act.”
According to The Tucson Weekly, this talk is NOT be be focused on politics–I try hard to stay away from all that on my website. At any rate, the article says Dr. Alvine will not speculate on changes in the health care law. This isn’t about that, ok? It’s about community-based health services for seniors and aging patients.
