A Bargain-Hunter's Guide for Things to Do in Tucson AZ

Senior Safari at Reid Park Zoo

Posted on | March 2, 2010 | 2 Comments

Enjoy free admission at Tucson’s Reid Park Zoo this Thursday. The website says that admission is FREE all day for all ages. “Seniors can enjoy information stations, activities, and demonstrations throughout the Zoo until 1 p.m. Zoo volunteers will be on hand to present hands-on materials at animal exhibits. This day is the perfect time to come and see what Reid Park Zoo Zoo has to offer.”

I tried to call to check, and nobody answered any of the numbers I dialed. So I am left with questions: Do only seniors get to enjoy the demos? Why is it called a Senior Safari if admission is free for all ages? Sigh. I wish I knew, but I don’t. In any case, the website states clearly that admission is free all day for all ages.

  • Where: Reid Park Zoo, 3400 E. Zoo Court, Tucson, AZ, 85716, 520-791-4022.
  • When: Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 9:00 AM. Hours are from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
  • How Much: Free zoo admission on Thursday. Normally, adults pay $7; seniors pay $5; and kids get in for $3. There are additional charges for various demos (giraffe feeding) and the train ride.

We post deals as we find them. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Sometimes the information we receive isn't acccurate, although we try to check every deal. And sometimes we make mistakes. It's up to you to check. It is always wise to call first to see if a bargain is still available.
