A Bargain-Hunter's Guide to Inexpensive Fun in Tucson

Cinema La Placita Movie Thursday!

Posted on | June 11, 2009 | No Comments

One of the activities I love to do on Thursday evenings in Tucson (well, Thursdays in the summer) is head to take in a movie over at Cinema La Placita. If you haven’t gone . . . well, what are you waiting for?

Their website is here, if you want to take a look at the remaining summer schedule.

The movie this week will be “Singin’ in the Rain,” starring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, Donald O’Connor and Jean Hagen

Where: The screening will be at Cinema La Placita 110 S. Church. ( It’s on the southwest corner of Broadway & Church in La Placita Village) The screening is an open-air event, so take a light lawn chair or blanket to sit on the ground. (Plastic chairs are provided, if you’d rather.)

When:Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 7:30 PM.

How much: A $3 donation will help pay for the movie and popcorn. Great deal!

We post deals as we find them. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Sometimes the information we receive isn't acccurate, although we try to check every deal. And sometimes we make mistakes. It's up to you to check. It is always wise to call first to see if a bargain is still available.
