Saturday’s PSWL Championship Baseball, 2010

The Tucson Nationals baseball team is a summer collegiate baseball team that plays in the Pacific Southwest League of the National Baseball Congress, This weekend we have a very special event: The 2010 PSWL Championship Baseball Tournament. The event will play out all weekend as six teams battle to represent the PSWL at the 2010 National Baseball Congress World Series in Kansas. Winner of the double-elimination tournament goes to the World Series event.
There will be four games on Saturday, two in the afternoon and two more in the evening. The evening games will be followed by live music provided by “Clutch Draggin’ and the Lug Nuts.” There is no charge for the concert for fans in attendance.
Just to keep you informed, the six teams are: The Tucson Nationals, The Bisbee Copper Kings, The Casa Grande Cotton Kings, Tucson KFC, the Tucson Outlaws, and the Tucson Yard Dogs.

- Where: Kino Sports Complex South Quad 5 at 2500 E. Ajo Way. Tucson, Az 85713. (520) 434-1000 (Next to TEP).
- When: Saturday, July 24, 2010 . The two afternoon games will be played at 3:00. The two evening contests start at 7:00 PM. Gates open an hour early.
- How much: $5 for a single day pass; $10 for a full tournament pass. Kids five and under get in free. All military and their families (with ID) get in for $3 for a single day or $8 for a tournament pass. Little Leaguers are admitted free if they wear their jersey and come with a paying adult.(Concession stand will sell hot dogs, nachos, sodas, water.)
