Hey, Kids! Learn About Bats!
Sabino Canyon Volunteer Naturalists will introduce kids (aged 4-6) to bats with story time, games, activities, and crafts this Friday morning. Parents need to stick around. Should be a very cool program.

Science Saturdays over at Pima Air & Space Museum are a marvelous way for kids (8 and older) to learn about rocket science. The young ones will learn how Newton’s laws of Motion work by building and flying seltzer rockets and balloon rockets. Kids need to be at least eight years old to participate.

Sabino Canyon offers their summer reading/craft program this Wednesday mornings for kids (aged 4-6, siblings welcome).Volunteer naturalists read to the young ones. This program runs in June and July of 2010 on Wednesday mornings. This week the kids will learn about owls.

The Tucson Children’s Museum has a fun event scheduled for Friday. Explore the food groups with hands-on demonstrations by Tucson Original Chefs! This week chefs from Eclectic Pizza will teach kids all about grains. The event is free with admission. Note: Pre-registration is required.
